Etsy Inspired 48 challenge

Hey there again :) I just want to start off with the fact that there has been a change in the Etsy Inspired BOGO event! :) We are extending it one week! Woo hoo!!! Here is the information on it:
Bring One (friend), Get One (entry)! All EIC players that “bring a friend” that is new to the challenge will be entered in a drawing to receive a $25 Gift Certificate sponsored by Paper Makeup Stamps!!!! Bring one friend, get one entry; bring two friends, get two entries, and so on!!!! The more friends you “bring” the greater your chances are to win! Additionally, the EIC player and her friend(s) will be eligible for the weekly shop give away, as well!!! You could win TWO great prizes!!!

Here’s how to participate… invite a friend (or friends) that are new to the challenge to play along with the challenge. Have your friend(s) go to Ashley’s Heart Hugs blog, read about the shop for the week, go to the shop, be inspired and CREATE! They should then go back to Ashley’s blog and post their project from the post for EIC 47
(or 48) post. In the post they should include “referred by” and your name. What YOU need to do as the referrer is post your card from Ashley’s blog, and ensure you include your BOGOs names. You’ll get one entry for the grand prize for each new person referred! The more people you invite to play, the greater your chance is to win!

On Friday 14 August, Noon PST, Random.Brady will choose the week’s challenge winner as usual. For those that referred new players, their names will be put in a “hat” and one lucky winner will be drawn to win a $25 Gift Certificate sponsored by Paper Makeup stamps! Some of you may know Katie and her shop and if you do, you KNOW it will be a GRAND prize! If you don’t go check it out and you’ll see!

Now onto this weeks FABULOUS SHOP(I am really excited about this one :) ) Most of you will know this fabulous shop's artist... It is Jessica Rose! :) Most of you will know her as an artist for Unity and Stamping Bella! Her shop is called Volume 25 on Etsy! The awesome prize that you can win is any 8x10 of your choice! I am sooooo going to be jealous of whoever wins! :) Good luck to all!!
*Jessica also let us know that she has embroidery patterns and you can get one for free here:
Here is my inspiration piece:

I am not sure why it inspired this layout.. because they don't really have much to do with each other, but oh well :) Here is my layout:

And a close up:

Is it weird to make a layout about your daughter's pig tails? haha I might be strange but I love them on her! :)

Now make sure you play along for a chance to win an 8x10 from Jessica Rose in her Volume 25 shop, and the Paper Makeup Stamps gift certificate. :)

And check out the rest of the DT:

Stop back tomorrow to see some cards from me, and some birthday cards I got from some amazing ladies! :)

Such a sweet layout! Beautiful - I see the relationship to your inspiration piece. It's eclectic and in the same color palette. Cute!

I love your layout! I think pig tails are a wonderful thing to make a layout of! :) And that's what I love about an inspiration challenge, you can be inspired by anything. Whatever you create is the right thing to create! :)

I love how many of your layouts focus on just one great picture and the story behind it. Great job!

Each week I love your scrapbook pages and each week I am jealous that it has been months since I have scrapbooked!!! It used to be all I did and I never dreamed of making cards and now cards and 3-D projects are all I do get done!!!

Your daughter is really cute and tell her Happy Birthday from me a little late!!!
