Join us on Saturday August 1st to play the BOGO Challenge – Bring One (friend), Get One (entry)! All EIC players that “bring a friend” that is new to the challenge will be entered in a drawing to receive a $25 Gift Certificate sponsored by Paper Makeup Stamps!!!! Bring one friend, get one entry; bring two friends, get two entries, and so on!!!! The more friends you “bring” the greater your chances are to win! Additionally, the EIC player and her friend(s) will be eligible for the weekly shop give away, as well!!! You could win TWO great prizes!!!

Here’s how to participate… invite a friend (or friends) that are new to the challenge to play along with you for the 1 August challenge. Have your friend(s) go to Ashley’s Heart Hugs blog, read about the shop for the week, go to the shop, be inspired and CREATE! They should than go back to Ashley’s blog and post their project from the post for EIC 47 post. In the post they should include “referred by” and your name. What YOU need to do as the referrer is post your card from Ashley’s blog, and ensure you include your BOGOs names. You’ll get one entry for the grand prize for each new person referred! The more people you invite to play, the greater your chance is to win!

On Friday 7 August, Noon PST, Random.Brady will choose the week’s challenge winner as usual. For those that referred new players, their names will be put in a “hat” and one lucky winner will be drawn to win a $25 Gift Certificate sponsored by Paper Makeup stamps! Etsy Inspired Challenge 46

Hello all :) It is time for another awesome Etsy Inspired challenge!!! This weeks awesome shop is called Artistic Flair! They create incredible fused glass pieces! There are even a few Twilight inspired pieces for the all the Twilight junkies like me!!!!! :)

Now this week is a special week since it is the last Saturday of the month! There will be 2 prizes this week! One of the prizes comes from the Artistic Flair shop, and it is a fused glass guitar pendant. The second prize generously comes from Unity Stamp Co, and the awesome prize is Love is in the Air (I need to get this set still)

All you have to do to be entered is play along with this weeks shop :) Go pick out a piece as your inspiration, create something , link it up to Ashley's blog, and you are entered! :)

Etsy Inspired 45 :)

It is time for another Etsy Inspired Challenge! :)

This weeks shop is called The Daily Pincushion. And let me tell you, the pin cushions in this shop are fabulous!!!!! I swear I need one just to put my pins for layouts in! :) Hehe!

I just had to use my little bumblebee from the June KOM from Unity :) I definitely could not resist. And I also used the sun and sentiment from the July KOM I got in the mail today! :)

Growing in Unity Day 4

Well... I can say for some reason I lost my mojo. I tried to make a million cards and layouts, and couldn't come up with one that I felt is worth it for Growing In Unity. But it is now 11:30 at night and I have to wake up at 3:30 for work, so I am sorry that I am settling.

Here is one of the cards I made:


I know it is simple but I think the soft candy colors are cute! Hope it is not too disappointing! It uses the candy stamps and sentiment from the August 2008 KOM Remember Happiness.

Growing in Unity Day 3!

Wow it is my third day of Growing in Unity already! :) I love that I am getting to share all my work with you. Thank you to everyone for your sweet comments. I am cherishing each and every one of them. :)

So I kind of feel like this layout is missing something.. so I may be back to add more to it after I watch Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince at the movie theater! Is anyone as excited about it as I am? I am even going to where my Dumbledore's Army shirt *grin*

Anyways, here is my layout!

The Unity stamps used on this layout are Distressed Dots(The polka dots all over the green paper), the round sentiment from Birdie Inspiration, and the owl and the branch with flowers from the June 2009 KOM.

Growing in Unity Day 2

Hi again ladies! :) Today is day 2 for my Growing in Unity week! I decided for today I just wanted to share a simple card using an image from Little Me and a sentiment from August 2008 KOM.



I took Bazzill card stock and layered it with a pink of piece of Bazzill card stock that was embossed using the Cuttlebug. I then took another piece of the black Bazzill card stock and layered on my white cardstock with the image on and sentiment on it that has an edge punched out using the fiskars border punch. I added stitching and then ribbon. :)
