Friends With Flair Friday! :)

Welcome to another week of Friends with Flair Friday, brought to you by the wonderful customers and DT of Unity Stamp Co! :)

This week I decided to work on a layout with another photo of Raine at the fair :)

A close up of the journaling:

And a close up of the flowers made using various Unity stamps, and of the stitching I did:

Now since I don't have a sewing machine.... keep in mind all the sewing I did on this layout.. yup.. all hand stitched! But the work was worth it because I love the look of this layout :)

The layout is this weeks sketch from 52 Sketches 52 Weeks

The Unity Stamps I used on this layout are:
Floral Friends- I used to bud of the one of these flowers to make the very center of all the flowers
Growing in Unity- I used one of the scrolls as a template for my stitching that is on the bottom right corner of the photo
Sept 09 KOM ( Go Ahead... Wish) - I used the calender flower for the orange base of my flowers and then stamped the other flower onto pink and orange DP and cut them out for more dimension.

Other supplies used:
Cosmo Cricket DP
Thickers
White thread
Brown thread
Color Box Chalk Chestnut Roan

The journaling reads" You have absolutely the biggest heart I have ever seen and right now it is all bundled up in this amazing little girl. You are going to be the greatest mother when you get older. You already mother the baby goats and you are so wonderful at it. I look forward to all the years to come where I have the privilege of watching your heart grow bigger. "

This week Unity is kind of going back to hip hop style and Angela included the amazing deals too! :o)

Every single stamp order gets 5 free random stamps!
Every $25 spent gets the option of purchasing another set for only $2!!!!! The sets you can choose from for $2 are Jolly Little Winter, Folk Inspired, and Little Me.
Make sure you add the kits to your cart!!!!!

Well that's it for me! Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you go check out everyone else's creations! :)

Friends With Flair Friday! :)

**Make sure you see my post below to see my exciting news!**

Hello there! :) Today is another Friends with Flair Friday, brought to you by the one and only Unity Stamp Company!! :)

I decided to go along with this weeks sketch challenge on SCS. I kind of changed it up a little bit because I didn't use any DP. Instead I scored 3 lines as a "frame" of where the DP would have been :)

Here is my card:

I took SU kraft as my base, scored the lines as my frame, added the black strip that I punched with my fiskars punch, and then added my stamped panel. To make the panel I stamped my sentiment with versamark, added black embossing powder, and used my heat gun. I layered it with black cardstock, and then kraft card stock. This panel with lifted with pop dots. As a final touch I added a punched butterfly using my Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

Supplies used:
Unity Stamp Co- Birdie Inspiration (sentiment)
SU card stock
Bazzill card stock- Black
versamark
Ranger black embossing powder
pop dots
Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch
Fiskars Edge Punch

Thanks for stopping by! :) Make sure you check out all the other ladies FFF posts! You can find the list here on SCS ---------> FFF participants!!

I love Unity!!!!!

So as most of you know, Unity has been having a Bachelor challenge, featuring the handsome Ryan Broman! :) Each week, (for 7 weeks) Ryan gives a new challenge that he wants and everyone participates :) Week 3's challenge was to use plaid and polka dots. I automatically knew what I wanted to make when I saw the challenge! This weeks is the the Fryeburg Fair.. the biggest fair in Maine. People from tons of states come to see this fair. This fair completely inspired this card:

Supplies used:
Unity Stamp Co- July KOM- A Pocket Full Of...
Making Memories Mini Brads in Chocolate
SU kraft
My Minds Eye DP
SU hemp
Making Memories Buttons
pop dots
SU Taken With Teal ink
Colorbox chalk Chestnut Roan Ink

So today I was at the fair again (got to love those gorgeous cows! :) ) and I came home to find out..
I WON THE CHALLENGE! :) What does that mean exactly? It means I won 25 random stamps and 12 sheets of patterned paper... and I am entered to win the grand prize!!! A $500 shopping spree, $100 of patterened paper, and 6 free months of the kit of the month.
Anyone that stops by my blog knows how much I love and support this company, so for me to win this week makes me feel completely honored. To me that is the grand prize! :) I love Angela and her whole crew over at Unity. So a HUGE thank you to them! :) And congrats to Nina the runner up! :)
