Hip Hop Hangover!

Hi Everyone!!
Today I have 2 new cards using Unity stamps on them. The first one uses a tree from tiny trinity and a swirl from growing in unity. Jeanne gave us a challenge at hip hop yesterday, to use gel pen on your card or project. I make dots on the scallops of the circle, and I stamped the swirls and then drew over them with my gel pen. We were also give a sketch challenge this week by Amber, so I used that on the card as well. Here is the card I made! :)

I also made a Unity card for the Unity Addicts challenge this week! I can't believe how long it has been going on! This weeks challenge was given to us by Carole! The challenge was to use a non-Valentines stamp in a Valentine's way! We also had to use ribbon and buttons on the card. So this is the card I made! :)

yay 2 days in a row!

woo hoo.. I am posting 2 days in a row! :) lol

ok another Etsy Inspired Challenge card! :) This card was inspired by a blanket at the little snuggle bunny shop on Etsy I got the image in a image swap I was in. The sentiment is Unity (of course!) :). To participate go to Ashley's blog!

I sure don't post here enough!

Well I certainly don't post here enough! Sorry to my followers, I hope you don't feel like I am a waste of space!But anyways, I have some things I want to share with you!
First is the fact that every week my fabulous friend Ashley has a Etsy Inspired challenge. Basically she gives us an Etsy shop to look at and be inspired by. You can make ANYTHING that you want. Cakes, cards, scrapbook pages, etc. I have been participating and I absolutely love it. :) One of the great things is that every week one lucky winner will win a prize from the Etsy Shop that we were all inspired by. Sounds fun huh?? So if you want to play, go check out Ashley's blog http://hearthugsdesigns.blogspot.com So these are the past 2 cards that I made that I was inspired by. She just held a DT and I applied. It is the first DT I have ever applied for, and I have my fingers crossed. If I don't make it, it will be ok because I know Ashley will pick some awesome and talented ladies!

Next is a couple layouts that I made during VSBN (Virtual Scrapbooking Night). It is actually a weekend of challenges over on SCS. It was my first time participating and I absolutely loved it. So the first one we were given a sketch challenge, and I came up with a page that I love and need to add pics too! (ok note!!!!! my pics are not ending up in the order they are supposed to be! I am not sure how to fix it, so I am just going to keep going. If anyone can tell me how to fix it, please leave me a comment letting me know how!)

The second one was 2 challenges that I put into one layout. The first challenge was to distress the layout and putting something you love on it. The second challenge was to use the sketch given, stamp on your page, and to journal. So I came up with the 1 cool dad layout!

And the third challenge I did was to make a layout using bright summer colors. I love these silly pics of Raine. She is such a sweetheart! :)

Today Raine was in the tub, and all the sudden she starts naming all the months of the year in order. I didn't know she knew them, so of course my jaw dropped to the floor! I can't believe she is only 3 and knows them! She makes me so incredibly proud.

Does anyone know how I can make a signature for my name so I don't have to keep typing it? I know all you lovely ladies have some, and I have no idea how to get one! lol thanks!!

HIP HOP scrapbook page!

Well, I decided the other day that I wanted to make a Unity/ hip hop page and I did it! :) Hooray! I even took a pic of myself wearing Unity colors! I think Unity is such a fantastic company. I have had they're stamps for a couple months now and I never use any other stamps except maybe a sentiment. But now that I have 2 sentiment sets coming to me this week I won't have to! So anyways, this is the page that I made!

On it I used the tea for 2 stamp and just inked up the middle instead of the sentiment too. And of the kraft I used a stamp from little labels 1 and masked the little dots and only stamped the circle on it. I used versamark with it. The post card is from Angela the first time I ordered from Unity stamps!

In the circle it says " I have made some amazing friends on Thursdays in the Unity forum. We all have one major thing in common, we are Unity addicts! :) "

My scrap/stamping closet

Alright, well I was going to put these on scs but it wouldn't let me attatch them so instead I am just putting these pics here. I scrap in my little walk in closet, and wanted to share what it looks like. The shelving system is pretty empty because I still working on seperating my embellishments. I think I am going to put them in baby food jars :) I also have the making memories tool carousel to the right but you can't see it. Thanks for stopping by!
